Lan Siao Home
A trail through art through stories tale

“Lan Siao Home” means “a gathering place for close friends”. The close friends here are Khao Phraya Prab and the installation art in the flower fields.

The purpose of this artwork is to make viewing art fun and accessible, especially for children. The artist imagines each piece of art to be transformed into a lively character with feelings and thoughts. Giving life to the artwork will make it easier for viewers to relate to the artwork and not feel like they are in different worlds, which would be a shame to miss out on the opportunity to get to know each other.

This set of works consists of 3 items:

  1. Galvanized iron board artwork with acrylic magnets, made into characters and walking paths, which children can move and play with as they please, installed in the parking lot.
  2. An art walking path with 29 flags installed along the way, with introductory messages, conversation, viewing, and thought-provoking messages from the characters.
  3. Stories about the characters, scales, or other perspectives of each piece of art, can be listened to via QR code on SoundCloud.
